- E-visa applications must be done outside of Vietnam. If you submit your visa while still in Vietnam, your visa application will be denied.
- Those who want to do a visa run must leave Vietnam first, submit their visa then have it expedited if they prefer a short stay outside of Vietnam.

3. Vietnam Emergency Visa On Arrival (the best option for those who need the visa at the very last minute – max 30-day stay).
If the above E-visa application is required to be submitted before 11:00 pm on the previous day to be able to expedite, the Vietnam emergency visa on arrival is the only potential option for getting a rush visa for Vietnam at the last minute.
You need to obtain an approval letter from an agent in Vietnam that allows you to get your visa stamped on arrival at major airports in Vietnam.
3.1. Vietnam Emergency Visa On Arrival Fees
– Business hours or processing time are from 8:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs (Vietnam time, GMT+7) except for weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and Public Holidays.

+ The above application fees for a Visa on Arrival do not include stamp fees which need to be paid at the time of picking up your visa upon arrival at Vietnam airport.
+ Our fees include a visa approval arrangement fee, a processing fee, and a small handling fee for the pre-checking of applications before presentation.
+ We guarantee that your fee will be 100% refunded in case your application is rejected.
+ Visa rules and fees for children should follow the same procedure as adults.
+ The passport must be valid for six months beyond the exit date and have two blank-facing pages.
+ Visa will be valid from the DATE OF ENTRY (provided in the application form) and extended for max 15-30 days. You can visit Vietnam on and after the DATE OF ENTRY and must leave before the visa expires.

3.3. How to collect your Visa On Arrival at Vietnam airport
Upon receipt of the payment, we will start the processing of your visa and then send you the approval letter and the Vietnamese visa application form by email (fill in advance to save time at the airport) via email or any chat platform.
On arrival at Vietnam airport, head to the “Visa on Arrival or Landing Visa” counter, submit your passport, a print-out of the approval letter, a full-filled Vietnamese visa application form with one passport-size photo with a face straight forward (in case you don't have a picture with you, you will be charged 5 USD to take a picture at the airport) affixed on the form (photos depend on the country of residence and it can be 4×6 cm or 2×2 inches) and pay US$ cash to the Immigration Officer for the stamp fee to collect the visa.
The actual visa shall be granted after the immigration unit completes checking the applicant’s information and letter of visa approval. Then you will go through passport control on exit.

Notes:
+ The stamp fee must be paid in cash and can be paid either in US Dollars or Vietnam Dong. No credit cards are accepted. So, make sure to carry some US Dollars/ Vietnam Dong with you. There will not be any ATMs in the Landing Visa area.
+ You should bring one more photo to submit to the Immigration officer. In case you don’t have any photos, you can pay extra (around 5 US$) to the officer to be taken by phone.
+ Children over 14 years of age sharing a passport with others must fill in a separate Vietnamese visa application form.
