DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL

Upon arrival to Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat International Airport) you will be picked up and transferred by private car through the city to your hotel for check-in (hotel rooms are available for mid-afternoon check-in).
The buzzing southern city, formerly known as Saigon, is a tantalizing mix of old and new. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
 

DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L)

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom Palace. The Independence Palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum, the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Have lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, the trip will take approximately one and a half hour bus drive. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (your own expense).
Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Evening is at leisure.

DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA: MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO (B, L)

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch I Accommodation: Hotel or Homestay in Can Tho

Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and start the trip to My Tho (70km). Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising around four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking in the village paths to contemplate orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, and Vietnamese folk music performed by the local people. Next, visit the fruit plantation.
Continue on a smaller rowing boat for a more adventurous cruise on the Thoi Son Canal which is set amongst a forest of palm trees and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside. Visit the family business & bee-keeping farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Have lunch at the local restaurant. Break time.

The afternoon is time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meeting the local people to experience their daily life in the Mekong delta. For those who do not want to join the cycling trip can relax on hammocks to enjoy the cool breeze.

Back to the pier then proceed to Can Tho. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 4: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel or homestay in early morning. Take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River) then visit Cai Rang floating market which is the liveliest one in the whole of region.

Walking trip to visit the fruit plantation and local noodle factory.

Continue to visit Binh Thuy communal house and Munir Ansay Pagoda - a Khmer pagoda, renowned for its unique structure.

Have lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 5: HO CHI MINH CITY – FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP, CAMODIA (B)

Today you will be transported to Ho Chi Minh City airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. On arrival at Siem Riep airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

DAY 6: SIEM REAP TOUR (B, L)

Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area. We spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal EnclosurePhimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat.This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.
Early this evening, we will take the Tuk Tuk (the most common taxi in Cambodia) to cruise around the Siem Reap town and for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey.

DAY 7: SIEM REAP TOUR (B, L)

Heading out of town we make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Then continue to visit Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89. Preah KO erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor.

DAY 8: SIEM REAP – FLIGHT TO PHNOM PENH (B)

Today we visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of time visiting the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. 
Return to your hotel and free at leisure until transfer to the airport for one hour flight to Phnom Penh

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, you will be picked up and transfered to the hotel for check in. Free and easy.

DAY 9: PHNOM PENH TOUR (B, L)

Heading out of town we visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious 'Killing Fields' of Choeung Ek, which will give us a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. We have time this afternoon, exploring Psar Toul Tom Pong, also called theRussian Market", where anything and everything is for sales.
Afternoon, visit Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. We will also visit Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of Phnom Penh during sunset.
